“Did you know the recipe for happiness is found in the Bible? It’s not found in selfish pursuits or evil choices. The blessing of happiness is found in righteous living and good choices. It’s not found in complaints or disagreeableness. It’s not found in everything going your way. It’s not found in arranging everything in your life like pawns on a chessboard, or all of your ducks in a row. And before you tell me happiness is not a choice I would ask you to count your blessings and see if there’s not something for which you can find to thank God.”
